As students we all know how valuable our energy levels can be, weather we need to do some homework that we left for the last moment or we have a test to write. Well here are Cooking With Life we want our customers to have the best college and or University experience possible!

When I think about food that gives us more energy our minds to right to vegetables, this may not be what you think about but it turns out there are many options out there that you might be having and not even noticing it!


Let's get into the Tips:


Below are foods that will boost your energy:


1. Eggs

The essential all nine amino acids in the eggs helps to boost your energy to the next level! Don't throw out the yoke though because must of those energy booting properties can be found in there. (Amy Paturel. 2011)


2. Citrus

The vitamin C in these round delights will make you glad you took time to peel back that outer rind so you can sink your teeth into the juicy flesh that are citrus fruits. (Amy Paturel. 2011)


3. Oatmeal

The vitamin B in oatmeal will help you avoid the feeling you get when you are walking and it feels as though your treading in a pool of sticky oatmeal. Although then there would be more oatmeal so you can break free of it... it's a never ending cycle! (Amy Paturel. 2011)


4. Yogurt

The protein-calcium help your focus on the tasks at hand, if you constantly multitasking then yogurt is for you! Yogurt companies are also now coming out with lactose free options for those who can't have the diary. No excuses! (Amy Paturel. 2011)


5. Tea

Drinking caffeinated tea throughout the day will help you think more clearly. This is essential for studying or reading test questions. (Amy Paturel. 2011)


6. Snacks

These easy to eat on the go snack will also boost your energy levels: Almonds, water, raw veggies and hummus, and whole fruits the best being apples. (Amy Paturel. 2011)
